18th, October  The most iconic luxury places  Laurent Poultier du Mesnil took us in the most emblematic luxury places of Paris. We first took a coffee at avenue Champs Elysee at the Louise bakery, (such a cute place!) to talk about ourselves and to know him a little bit more. He is a business leader, journalist, teacher, specialized in the luxury lifestyle and gastronomy. He created the Hermine society and the festival of French history.  He also lead the «  Libre Journal de la Vie Française » and a lot more !   Avenue Montaigne After this nice break (it was raining a lot), we walk to Avenue Montaigne, where he explained to us that the most famous group LVMH, Kering, Prada… was competiting against each other inside of the luxury market. He told us for instance that when Notre Dame burned in March 2020, François Pineault first called Emmanuel Macron offering 100 million euros to help reconstruct it, and later, when Bernard Arnault knew it, h...

"La Rive Droite", my journey through the most iconic places.

Paris is a city full of culture, and submerges us in a luxurious universe.  My recent trip to the Rive Droite, in particularly the Avenue Montaigne and La Samaritaine, offered me a unique opportunity to dive into the history and luxury of the City of Light's fashion industry. Some competing groups are even located right next to each other, which may come as a surprise. As I walked past these iconic stores, I couldn't help but be captivated by their rich history. The DNA of the stores can be seen, with all the symbols repre...

La Samaritaine:  flagship location in the  Rive Droite : La Samaritaine is part of the same group as Le Bon Marché. It took 7 years of work to build this department stores', which contains outlets for luxury brands, a restaurant/bar, a spa and even a hotel. The staircases were built by Eiffel. The principle behind the building is that the higher you go up the floors, the more upmarket the products offered by the luxury houses become. Frantz Jourdain wanted to bring the building up to date with the times, and worked in particular with a steel framework, which he combined with a vast glass roof to le...
