The visit of Montaigne Avenue and "La Samariatine"

Avenue Montaigne

We started our journey on Montaigne Avenue.

We talked about the biggest luxury groups such as LVMH, Kiering and Richemont. There was always a rivalry between this groups and who was the most important. You will have a Maison from LVMH on one side of the street and the other side a Kiering Maison. So we went trough the avenue and saw a lot of nice stores.

It started raining so we had to move to La Samaritaine.

La Samaritaine

The Samaritaine is a historic department store in Paris, known for its iconic Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture. It first opened in 1870 and has undergone renovations over the years. After being closed for a major renovation, it reopened in 2021 with a mix of retail spaces, including luxury brands, a hotel, and a rooftop terrace offering panoramic views of the city.

And he presented us the rivalry :it  is more of a cultural and historical distinction. The Left Bank is often associated with intellectualism, artistic bohemia, and a more relaxed atmosphere, while the Right Bank is seen as more upscale, commercial, and business-oriented. It's like comparing the artsy, bookish vibe of one side to the chic, business-focused vibe of the other.

Louboutin History :
